Danielle Nugent

Danielle Nugent joined as Assistant Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead in February 2025 after serving 17 years as a police officer. The last 7 years of her police service were spent as a Detective Constable working in Child Safeguarding. She received District Commander’s Commendations and Judges Commendations for her outstanding work.

Safeguarding children is what she is very passionate about and she felt as though it was the right time in her life to take the skills developed in the police, across to the education sector.
