Welcome to Bedale High School.
In a very short space of time, Bedale has begun to gain a reputation for working in close partnership with parents to fulfil the potential of each and every one of our students. Since joining the school in April 2017, I have enjoyed the support of staff, governors and the wider community but by far and away the greatest asset at Bedale High School are the students themselves who continue to impress me on a daily basis.
The school has recently been restructured and, as part of that process from September 2017, our two Deputy Headteachers, Mr Kelly and Mr Gill, aim to guarantee success in all its forms, whether it be in the classroom, out on the sports pitches or up on the stage. We have the highest of expectations and trust that all students will wear our new uniform with pride. Ultimately, we want to create students who are successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens so all our energies are directed towards these goals. To help us in our quest, we ask that all parents support our core values around attitude, respect and commitment:
As someone who feels both proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Bedale High School, my pledge is to work tirelessly so that we build a strong, successful school at the heart of the local community where every student can thrive and achieve the best possible outcomes.
